Alison Lincoln graduated from the University of East Anglia with a first class degree in music. Having begun playing the piano at the relatively late age of 12, she gained her grade 8 at the age of 16 and won two awards from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. She went on to take her performer's certificate in piano performance from Trinity College London, and the ATCL piano recital diploma. After graduating from the University of East Anglia in 2011 she continued her studies, and completed a Masters degree in piano performance at the University of East Anglia in 2012 as a pupil of Christopher Green-Armytage. More recently, Alison has passed the LRSM diploma examination in piano performance.
Although a first study pianist, Alison also has grade 8 in singing, music theatre, recorders and theory of music, and began her University degree studying Opera with the soprano Hannah Francis, before deciding to return to the piano.
Alison offers lessons in piano, singing (classical, musical theatre and pop), electronic keyboard and theory of music. Free 20 minute taster lesson with no obligation. Alison teaches singing at Langley School and piano at Norwich High School for Girls.
Alison can accompany for exams, recitals and festivals up to and including diploma levels. CD piano backing tracks available on request to practice with at home.
